An integral part of Triple T is an evaluation of how well the tools met individual needs. These evaluations are usually anonymous. However, below are comments from Triple T Evaluation Forms that were provided by those identified following their comments.

“One thing that unfortunately cannot be measured is the positive attitude of clubs that have been exposed to TTT. Much like a breath of fresh air, these clubs recognize the benefits of TTT and have made moves this year in both membership growth and expansion of community service programs.

“We have heard so much about reaching the “X” and “Y” generations. Two clubs in my district have had a great deal of success with web sites after being exposed to TTT at a Zone Meeting. One club reported that one of its four new web sites was causing it problems – 35 individuals had contacted the club about joining. Nice problem to have…The other club posted a web site and within one week had seven inquiries about joining. Both of these clubs had never had a web site, didn’t have a newsletter and used “snail mail” for communications – then, along came TTT.

“TTT has led our District to completely revamp its officer training program. We will have four regional sites for training. The training will center on goal setting and officers will have an opportunity to plan for the 2008-09 year…”

“We started using the TTT program in Georgia last August. While the MD MERL team was doing training by holding day long workshops, the training was not reaching the very clubs that need the training the most - the small clubs that do not come to District and State events. By putting the training in the hands of zone level leaders, we have seen an improvement in the retention area. While we have no grown, we have stopped most of the bleeding. Clubs seem to be focused on quality programming in their communities. Two our six districts have really jumped on using TTT as zone meeting programs, and there is a direct correlation to the fact that their retention numbers are the best across the state.
“We have good training opportunities, but it’s getting training to the small clubs not attending District and MD events that has been our challenge. TTT has given us a quality product that takes the training to any club, any where.”

“The 3T’s program has become an inspiration to the Lions of Kansas who recognize that change is necessary if we are to see membership and club numbers move from the negative to the positive. The program combines real life video situations with the opportunity to discuss and develop positive program changes that will lead to more Lions involvement and helps develop strong membership recruitment and community projects.”

“I presented the TTT program at the invitation of District 44-N Governor Terry McGrew as well as to all of the Zone/Region Chairs and anyone else interested in District 44-H. Extra videos were needed to accommodate the number of attendees. The program was well received and a success. I have subsequently been asked to do membership training at the New Hampshire Leadership Forum and to use the TTT program.

“MD-44 has a membership problem – our membership has continued to go down. I also believe it starts with the leadership in our clubs & districts. Showing the TTT program to the clubs have resulted in clubs changing to help in the areas of membership and retention. Many clubs are realizing that in order to attract new members a reason has to be given to join. They also realize that existing members need a reason to stay. The TTT program has helped in many ways for everyone to understand. Ideas that have come from the Triple T program have been used with success. Orientations are being conducted more than ever and the need to train Lions for leadership roles has made it to the top of the list thanks to TTT.”
